JONAH is an original Sawa Films production: a hyper-realistic creature thriller presented as a concept trailer, under a minute long. It was produced entirely with AI.
About the Film
The trailer is set in an industrial shipyard. Whalers have begun harvesting an ancient leviathan at the docks. Then the tide shifts, and the creature opens its eye.
The film rests on scale and texture: colossal marine scales, tactile creature skin and tense, atmospheric cinematography inside the shipyard. Sound design and pacing hold the tension until the eye opens.
How It Was Made
JONAH is a self-initiated film, made the way every Sawa Films project is made: story, script and storyboard first, then AI to produce the photorealistic shots, with a person reviewing every frame. The work moved through the studio's six phases: brief, concept & script, storyboard, image design, motion & sound, and the final edit.
