A Journey Through Qatar's Achievements is a 3D animated educational short for students, just over a minute long, made in a Pixar-style look. It walks through the milestones of Qatar's modern story, one stop at a time.
About the Film
The journey begins inside the National Museum of Qatar and travels through the country's milestones: independence in 1971, the FIFA World Cup 2022, Stadium 974, Education City, the Doha Metro and, at the end, the modern skyline.
The Pixar-style 3D animation gives a history lesson the color and warmth of an animated film, which suits a student audience. Each milestone becomes a place the viewer travels to, so the film reads as one continuous trip rather than a list of dates. It sets out to pair animation with Qatari cultural identity, to inspire students and to celebrate national pride.
How It Was Made
Sawa Films produced the short with AI video workflows. As with every Sawa Films project, the story, script and storyboard came first, then AI produced the shots, and a person reviewed every frame before the final edit.
