AI Animation

AI Animation Studio
for Brands Worldwide

Sawa Films is an AI animation studio working with brands worldwide. We design the characters, write the story and direct every scene the way an animation team would, then produce the motion with AI, with no modeling, rigging or render queue in the way. A 3D animated video, 2D anime, a noir comic or paper stop-motion: the story chooses the style, in Arabic and English.

What you get

Story and script

A story shaped for your audience and runtime, with a script that sets the narration, the dialogue and the emotional turn. Animation lives on its story, so this comes first.

Characters and style, approved first

Each character's face, outfit, palette and lighting fixed as still reference frames that you approve before a single scene is animated.

A storyboard of the whole film

Every scene boarded frame by frame in the chosen style, so you see the film beat by beat before motion begins.

The finished animation

Animated, edited, color graded and mastered, with every scene checked against the approved board for character consistency.

Music and sound design

Score, sound effects and voice-over built around the picture. On The Gift of Kindness, music and sound design gave the story room to breathe.

Arabic and English versions

Narration, dialogue and on-screen text written in each language rather than translated line by line, so your characters speak to each audience in its own language from the first draft.

How an animation gets made

Animation follows the same six steps as every Sawa Films production, with the weight shifted toward design. In discovery we choose the style with you, because 3D, anime and paper stop-motion each tell a story differently. At the image stage every character is designed and locked as a reference, and the whole film is boarded in that look. Then comes motion: each shot is animated, compared with the character references and regenerated wherever a face, a hand or a mouth drifts. Sound design and the final grade give the film its rhythm.

  1. Discovery & Concept

We begin by understanding your vision, goals, and audience. Through collaborative sessions, we develop the creative concept and establish the visual direction for your project.

  2. Script & Storyboard

Our team crafts compelling narratives and detailed storyboards. Every scene is planned to maximize emotional impact and visual storytelling.

  3. AI Image Generation

Using advanced AI engines, we create complete frame by frame storyboards with characters, environments, lighting, & styling locked before video production begins.

  4. Video Production

Static images become dynamic motion. Camera movements, timing, visual effects, & seamless action every element refined to create cinematic sequences that feel directed, not generated.

  5. Sound Design

We layer in AI-generated music, sound effects, and voiceovers. Every audio element is crafted to enhance the emotional resonance of your film.

  6. Final Delivery

Professional editing, color grading, transitions, and audio mastering. All elements refined and delivered in every format you need ready for launch.

Why animate with AI

Many styles, one team

Pixar-style AI animation, 2D anime, a noir comic and paper craft would each normally call for its own specialist pipeline. Here the style is decided at the brief, and the same team carries it to delivery.

Meet the characters before you commit

Characters and key scenes are approved as finished-looking stills first, so the look is settled while changes still cost the least.

Rework a shot, not the film

If a moment does not land, we rework that shot on its own. There is no model to rebuild and no sequence to render again from scratch.

Feeling, not just spectacle

Animation holds attention through character. The Gift of Kindness was made to prove that AI production can carry real emotion between a mother and daughter, not only visual effects.

Honest limits

Long runtimes take deliberate consistency work

Keeping a character's face, outfit and proportions identical across a long film is the hardest part of AI animation. It comes from design references and scene-by-scene review, not by default, so a longer runtime or a bigger cast adds real time to the schedule.

Lip-sync and hands need review

Mouths moving to dialogue and fine hand detail, such as fingers holding a cup, are where generated motion most often slips. We review those shots one by one and regenerate them, and may suggest narration over close-up dialogue where a scene is at risk.

A signature performance needs a person

If the film depends on a known actor's voice, or on a real person's likeness and performance, a live shoot or a recording with a human performer is the better choice. We will tell you so at the brief.

Existing characters need their source art

A mascot or licensed character is animated from its official artwork and guidelines. A character we only know from a description will drift more than one with a clear model sheet.

Pricing guidance

Custom production starts from $549. Animated films are scoped after a short brief and priced by length and complexity: the runtime, how many characters must stay consistent, how much dialogue needs lip-sync, and the style itself. You receive a written proposal before production starts. Our fixed-price video ads, $99 for one, $249 for three and $749 for ten, are a separate product: short vertical ads, not animated films.

Questions about AI animation

Which animation styles can you produce?

Our published work covers Pixar-style 3D, 2D anime, noir comic, paper stop-motion and a philosophical short with a look of its own. If your brand needs a different style, we develop style frames first, so you can judge it before any animation is produced.

What does "Pixar-style" mean on this page?

It describes a look: soft, rounded 3D characters, warm lighting and expressive faces. It is a style reference only, and Sawa Films has no affiliation with Pixar. We design original characters for your story in that look.

Can you animate our existing mascot or brand character?

Yes, from your references. Send the official artwork, color values and any turnaround or model sheets you have. We lock the character as a reference at the image stage and check every scene against it. The clearer the source material, the more consistent the result.

How do you keep a character consistent across a whole film?

We design each character once, fix reference frames for the face, outfit and proportions, and board the film in that look before animating. Every shot is compared with those references and regenerated when something drifts. In The Gift of Kindness, the mother and daughter stay recognizably themselves from the first scene to the last.

Can the characters speak Arabic?

Yes. Narration and dialogue can be written in Arabic from the first draft, with an English version from the same production. Close-up dialogue needs lip-sync review shot by shot, so for long spoken scenes we may suggest narration or cutaways, which also make the second language version simpler.

How long does an animated short take?

A short film typically takes 4 to 8 weeks from brief to delivery. The main variables are the runtime, the number of recurring characters and the amount of dialogue. The schedule is confirmed in the proposal before production starts.

Is animation only for children's content?

No. Who's Missing? is a philosophical short about absence and identity, and The Fall of a Champion tells a boxer's decline as a noir comic. Animation carries brand stories, campaign films and values messages for adult audiences as well as family ones.

How much does an AI animation cost?

Custom production starts from $549. Animated films are quoted after a short brief, based on length and complexity, so you know the price before production begins.
